This is the final installment for the Chase HQ restoration – Woo hoo!
This time I sort out harness wiring modification and monitor installation, with some steering mech modifications
The cabinet is starting to come together well now, and it feels like I am making progress! In this update I finish off the bottom half of the restoration.
At this point I was going to put new graphic decals on the steering unit, but for now I am just going to clean it up a little and get it functional. Putting new graphic overlays on won’t get done till the end of the project. I will also neaten

My next project will be a restore of a Taito Chase HQ cabinet. I have to say that as awesome as Chase HQ is, the quality of the build of this particular cabinet is really bad. Terrible chipboard, really not made to last. So I really do have my work
